Lynn Adams, Ph.D., CCC-SLP Lynn Adams, Ph.D., CCC-SLP
Lynn Adams is an Associate Professor in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders of Radford University. She holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association. Her areas of research and clinical expertise include Asperger syndrome, Autism and related disorders, language acquisition and disorders in infants, toddlers and preschoolers.

Dr. Adams has been teaching and supervising in the university setting since 1992. Additionally, she has served local school systems as an Autism Education Consultant since 1994. She worked in a public school setting, and a developmental evaluation center. She received her doctorate from The University of Tennessee-Knoxville, and her MS and BS from The Florida State University, Tallahassee.

Dr. Adams is active in both the state and national professional associations. She served as the President-Elect and President of the Speech-Language-Hearing Association of Virginia (SHAV). She is currently serving as a Legislative Councilor from the Commonwealth of Virginia.
