Edwin M.-L. Yiu, PhD

Edwin M.-L. Yiu, Ph.D., is the Professor and Associate Dean of the Faculty of Education at the University of Hong Kong. He is the Founder of the Voice Research Laboratory at the Division of Speech and Hearing Sciences, The University of Hong Kong. He also holds an Honorary Professorship at the University of Sydney. His major fields of research include voice analysis, efficacy of voice therapy, and complimentary and alternative medicine in voice rehabilitation. He has published extensively in the field, with over 90 publications including peer-reviewed journal articles, book chapters and edited volumes. He is a regular invited speaker at international conferences in Australia, China, the United Kingdom and the United States. He is a member of the Voice Foundation Scientific Advisory Board and holds the position of editorial board member of several international speech pathology journals.
