Estella P.-M. Ma, PhD

Estella P.-M. Ma, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Speech and Hearing Sciences and the Co-Director of Voice Research Laboratory at the University of Hong Kong. Upon completion of her doctoral study at the University of Hong Kong in 2003, she worked at the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences, the University of Queensland as a lecturer before she rejoined HKU in 2006. Her research interests include instrumental voice assessments, pediatric voice disorders and voice motor learning. She publishes quality scientific articles in high-ranking journals in the field and her work is regularly presented at international conferences. She is a steering committee member of the Asia-Pacific Society for the Study of Speech, Language and Hearing and also Voice Committee member of the International Association of Logopedics and Phoniatrics.
