Dr. Korovin has a private practice in otolaryngology, with a subspecialty in voice in New York City. She is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Otolaryngology at New York University School of Medicine and serves as a consultant for Ames Vocal Dynamics Laboratory at Lenox Hill Hospital. She is also an Adjunct Faculty Member for the Masters of Fine Arts Program at the New School of Social Research. Dr. Korovin serves on the Editorial Board of the Journal of Voice and on the Board of Directors and Scientific Advisory Board of the Voice Foundation.
She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutritional Science from Cornell University and her medical degree from Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse, New York. She completed a general surgical internship at Lenox Hill Hospital and her residency in otolaryngology at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary in New York City. Dr. Korovin is certified by the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery and is a member of many professional organizations, including the American Medical Association, the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, the American Rhinologic Society, the American Board of Otolaryngology, and the American Medical Women’s Association.
