Leslie Glaze, PhD, CCC-S

Leslie Glaze is a speech-language pathologist specializing in voice disorders, cleft palate, and alaryngeal speech. She is an Adjunct Assistant Professor and Instructor in the Department of Speech-Language-Hearing Sciences at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, Minnesota, where she was formerly the Director of Clinical Programs. She has also taught undergraduate and graduate courses in that department since 1994, including speech disorders, voice disorders and cleft palate, anatomy and physiology, counseling and professional issues, medical speech-language pathology, and most recently, a math-related course in measuring various aspects of human behavior. She has also been a clinical supervisor in the Cleft Palate and Craniofacial Clinic in the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. Glaze has served twice as the Coordinator of ASHA’s Special Interest Division 3 (Voice and Voice Disorders) and is a former President of the Minnesota Speech-Language-Hearing Association. She has contributed chapters and articles in areas of voice and voice disorders, cleft palate, and alaryngeal speech and is Co-Editor of another text book, Cleft Lip and Palate: Interdisciplinary Issues and Treatment. She is a Fellow of ASHA.
