Dr. Johns graduated from Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. He completed his residency in Otolaryngology at the University of Michigan. He then pursued a fellowship in Laryngology at the Vanderbilt Voice Center. Johns is the director of the Emory Voice Center at Emory University, pursing research, teaching, and clinical care, with a specific interest in geriatric laryngology and the aging voice.
