Frequently Asked Questions - Exam/Review Copies

Exam/Review Copies

Who should submit a request
Plural welcomes university and college faculty to request a review copy of our textbooks to consider for course adoption. A list of books that are considered textbooks and are available to instructors as review copies can be viewed on the drop-down menu on our textbook review copy request form, here.

Instructors, if your institution resides outside of USA or Canada all textbook review requests will be processed as 90-day exam copies, regardless of whether it is coded as a desk copy.

Types of requests

  • Desk Copies
Examination copies of textbooks are available to university and college faculty to consider for course adoption.
  • 90-day Exam Copies
Select titles are available as invoiced 90-day review copies. Upon approval of your review request, the publication will be sent to you followed by an invoice, and you will have 90 days to examine the book. If you choose to adopt the text, return the invoice with the notification that it has been adopted for required course use. The examination copy will then become a desk copy. If you choose not to adopt the text, you may either return both the publication and invoice stating: "examination copy not adopted" or purchase the publication by paying the invoice.

How to submit a request
To submit your exam copy request, please complete the order form by clicking here. Depending on whether the text is a desk copy or exam copy, find your textbook selection under the "Please Select a Desk Copy Title" drop down menu or "Please Select an Exam Copy Title" drop down menu.
