Sleep Medicine

Kathleen Yaremchuk, MD, Pell Wardrop, MD

Sleep Medicine gives readers the necessary materials  to practice sleep medicine, encompassing the fundamentals of both adult and pediatric sleep medicine as it applies to the clinical practice of otolaryngology. It is a one-of-a-kind book due to its offering of an extensive review of clinical sleep medicine alongside coverage of sleep-testing modalities, as well as its inclusion of clinical sleep disorders that an otolaryngologist is likely to see in the office.

  1. I didn’t realize Otolarngology was your specialty I just had vocal cord surgery on 9-1 and still very little voice…any ideas on that?

  2. Hi Karen,

It’s not uncommon to require several weeks of voice rest after a surgery. We suggest that you check with your otolaryngologist to see if they recommend any exercises or therapy techniques to help the healing process.
