Cynthia McCormick Richburg

Cynthia McCormick Richburg, PhD, CCC-A is an Associate Professor in the Special Education and Clinical Services Department at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Richburg contracted with school districts and practiced pediatric audiology from 1989 to 1994, after which time she returned to school to obtain her doctorate. She has been a faculty member at the University of Utah, State University of New York – New Paltz, Missouri State University, and Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She has taught Educational Audiology courses and conducted research in the area. Dr. Richburg is currently the editor of the Journal of Educational Audiology (2009-2012) and was an associate editor with the journal from 2007-2008. Dr. Richburg received her Bachelor of Arts (1988), Master of Arts (1989), and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Tennessee – Knoxville.
