Janina Wilmskoetter, PhD, CCC-SLP, BCS-S, is an Associate Professor at the Medical University of South Carolina, where she teaches graduate students, works clinically in acute care and neurological specialty clinics, and conducts research focusing on post-stroke dysphagia and aphasia. Dr. Wilmskoetter has a soft spot for dessert, particularly anything chocolate, and is committed to advancing care so that individuals with swallowing disorders can continue to enjoy their favorite foods.
