Kostas Konstantopoulos

Kostas Konstantopoulos, PhD, is an associate professor at the University of the Peloponnese, Greece, teaching neuroanatomy and all neurogenic courses. He is the first author of a textbook published in the United States about neuroimaging in neurogenic communication disorders. He currently serves as the chair for the bachelor’s degree in speech and language therapy. In the past, he served as coordinator for the bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in speech therapy at the European University Cyprus, Cyprus. He has extensive clinical and research experience in neurogenic communication disorders spanning 20 years in various clinical settings, and 8 years of experience in clinical assessment and treatment of speech and dysphagia at the Cyprus Institute of Neurology and Genetics. Most of the case histories in the chapters of this textbook have been drawn from his files and referred from all four neurology clinics in the Cyprus Institute of Neurology and Genetics.
