Lindsey E. Jorgensen

Lindsey Jorgensen, PhD, is an Associate Professor in the Department of Communication Disorders at the University of South Dakota, where she teaches, conducts research, and provides clinical services in the area of hearing aids and hearing assistive technology.   She also has a clinical and research appointment at the Sioux Falls VA Medical Center.  Dr Jorgensen obtained her BS at the University of Washington, then moved to the University of Pittsburgh where she completed her AuD and PhD.  She currently is on the Board of Directors for the American Academy of Audiology and the Editorial Board of Seminars in Hearing. Lindsey usually is juggling, some days more successfully than others, her audiologic activities with raising her two children, Gunnar and Teagan with her husband, Kyle.
