Paul T. Fogle

Paul Fogle, PhD, has been a speech-language pathologist for over 55 years. Dr. Fogle was a university professor for 35 years and was awarded Professor Emeritus status upon retirement. He taught primarily graduate courses on Neurological Disorders in Adults, Motor Speech Disorders, Dysphagia/Swallowing Disorders, Gerontology, Voice Disorders, Cleft Palate and Oral-Facial Anomalies, and Counseling Skills for Speech-Language Pathologists. His primary publications are textbooks and therapy materials. He has worked extensively in acute, subacute, and convalescent hospitals, and has maintained a private practice for over 45 years, treating children and adults with a variety of disorders. He has presented nearly 150 courses, seminars, and workshops throughout the U.S. and internationally. He has served as an expert witness in over 55 medical-legal cases since 1985. He received the Global Excellence Award: Most Influential Speech-Language Pathologist Expert Witness 2022. Dr. Fogle served as an Army Combat Medic in Vietnam in 1969.
